Plumber Atlanta

In order to become a licensed plumber in Georgia, a person must demonstrate by way of exam that he or she has the knowledge to install or repair Georgia plumbing systems in such a manner as to protect the public health from sanitary diseases and ensure proper functionality of the plumbing system.

This "8" hour exam is a very stringent plumbing exam, and the Georgia student must also be referred by (3) licensed plumbers that he or she has received (3) years minimum training before being allowed to sit for the exam.

A Master Plumber License student in Georgia must show a total of (5) years’ experience before being able to sit for his or her second "8" hour exam.

Disease has been controlled largely due to proper sanitation through correctly designed Plumbing systems in Georgia. The SARS virus has been directlygerm linked to improper Plumbing system repair, and many other diseases are linked to improper sanitation.

An unsanitary situation may occur from something as small as an improperly repaired p-trap for your sink which we see all the time in Georgia. Improper vent placement is also a regular in Georgia and can affect the gas-trap seal of your sink or other fixture causing disease ridden gases to enter the air you breathe. An improperly installed seal beneath your toilet can allow these gases to escape as well. Should you trust just anyone to install your new toilet?

We find many cases where Georgia plumbing systems have been repaired improperly or fixtures improperly installed have caused infiltration of these gases into the home of our customers, preventing this is the reason plumbers in Georgia are professional tradesman; though a great many plumbers achieved their license with an improper respect for the license.

Valu-Rite Plumbers Georgia understands and has great respect for the codes that govern the industry in order to protect the health of your Family.

Why use licensed plumbers?

Licensed Plumbers have demonstrated by way of exam that he or she has the knowledge to install or repair plumbing systems in such a manner as to protect the public health from sanitary diseases and ensure proper functionality of the plumbing system.

Why do I have a sewer odor in my Bathroom?

Usually there's a plumbing fixture in your bathroom that never gets used. The trap for that fixture and all plumbing fixtures uses water to prevent sewer gases from entering the air you breathe. If that fixture never gets used then the water in the fixture trap will evaporate thereby allowing the sewer gases to enter the air.

What questions should I ask my remodeler friend or contractor about my plumbing?

Make sure you know who your Licensed Plumber will be!
